"Messengers" is the most recent album released by up and coming band "August Burns Red." Although the band
was definitely known by the time their EP released in 2004 (Looks Fragile after all) and their first full length
album in 2005 (Thrill Seeker), this is truly their breakthrough album. The album is heavier then their last,
with improved breakdowns that even I thought couldn't get much better. If your not a fan of metal and /or
bands that scream their lyrics, then this album is seriously not for you. But if you are, then i highly
recommend this album. Every last song on this album has the power to motivate and pump you up in any possible
situation. Their really isn't one bad song on this entire album, and that is extremely hard to come across.
Their genre of metal breaks down into metalcore (which explains the breakdowns), and Progressive Metal.
This album peaked at number 81 on the top Billboard 200 with single track "Composure", and others like "Eleventh
Hour" and "Up Against the Ropes." This is easily my favorite album right now, and I highly recommend a purchase
of this album.
