| "Our Last Night is a New Hampshire-based band, formed in 2004 by five members, consisting
of Trevor Wentworth (vocals), Matt Wentworth (guitar/melodic vocals), Alex "Woody" Woodrow, (bass), Colin Perry
(also on guitar), Tim Molloy (drums), who were "fed up with merely jamming and playing cover songs". The band has
received much attention from the fact that the vocalist Trevor Wentworth was only 11 years old when he joined
the band and is now 16. In August of 2007, after having spent some time on the local club scene, Our Last Night
was signed to Epitaph Records (a label owned by Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz) and released their first album,
entitled The Ghosts Among Us, on March 4, 2008. It peaked at #6 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers (Northeast) on
March 22, 2008". (Credit Given to Respected Creator) This is personally one of my new favorite bands. I only found this band about a week ago, and already the shear diversity this band brings to the scene is mind blowing. As mentioned before the vocalist of this band is only 16, which makes their skill even more admirable. The band knows how to transition greatly from a clean post-hardcore segment to breakdowns that will rattle your teeth. As a new up and coming band, these guys need support, and they definitely deserve it. I give this album a 5/5, absolutely pick up this album titled "The Ghosts Among Us". |
