Alright, I'm gonna need to set the record straight. This band......IS HORRIBLE!!
I would rather listen to Hannah Montana then listen to this pathetic excuse of a band. To start
off this review, this band consists of three members, one which is not recognized, including Shwayze himself, Cisco
Adler, and the DJ. The first complaint I have with this band, is the DJ's name is "DJ Skeet Skeet." Not only is this
deragatory, it's stupid, and not in the least bit funny. I had to sit and watch this band at warped tour because a band
I wanted to see (Bring me the Horizon) was going on as soon as Shwayze finished. Their stage was about 12 feet from the stage I was at. So
lets look at the situation. We have a bunch of Shwayze losers listening to their music, while about 600 metalheads
completely overwhelm that small crowd with boo's and angry comments. Shwayze got really upset, which was slightly
pathetic. Nobody has respect for this band, and the crowd I was in put on such a showcase of hate for this band, and love
for Bring me the Horizon, that BMTH started their set while Shwayze was still on their final song. It was hysterical.
Shwayze basically doesn't deserve to have any sort of record deal. To make matters worse, they even have a show on
MTV called "Buzzin", which is conveniently the name of their first single. Aside from this, their is a much more important
matter I need to address with this band. The lyrics and messages in these songs are simply horrid. Every last song they
have written is about sex and weed. Now you may think "ok, well rap artists do that all the time." Rap artists
address those in a different matter, sometimes as one liners, or when directly addressed, it is called something
else in the song (For example, Lil Wayne's "Lollipop"). Shwayze on the other hand, directly writes about sex and drugs, and the lyrics aren't creative in
the least. But lets take another example. Afroman and his song "Colt 45."
This song is all about drugs and sex. But this song is funny, hysterical even. Shwayze is serious when they write their
lyrics. Take these lyrics for example. "If you've got the weed, then I've got the pipe,
we can get high together all night." This is just pathetic. The band feels like they have to talk about these topics
to be cool and make good music. Too bad virtually everyone in their right mind in the music industry knows this
band is absolutely unworthy of their current stature. I HATE THIS BAND!!! TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO HATE THIS BAND!!
TELL YOUR MOM TO HATE THIS BAND! TELL YOUR DAD TO HATE THIS BAND! TRAIN YOUR DOG TO VISIOUSLY ATTACK ANYONE THAT
LISTENS TO THIS BAND!! AND FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T EVER BUY ANY MERCHANDISE OR ALBUMS FROM THIS BAND. SHWAYZE IS AN
EVIL MASTER MINDED PLAN CONCOCTED BY THE DEVIL!!!! May the power of christ compell you shwayze. Stop writing
bad music.
